Photographs from Workshop in Angoulême

Halo all!
and special dedication to PoWil,

Well, my Wires* travel and our workshop officially started when I arrived in Angoulême last week on the 17th September. As part of my Wires* 'European Tour' I visited PieR in Angoulême for our first workshop. It's really, really great to meet PieR again especially here in France. PieR have been a great host and the perfect tour guide for my visit.

To my surprised, we met another Lingua Comica:Reloaded group, Amélie Clément (from Belgium) and Rommel (from Philippines) who are also working on their project 'Tiptoe On Circles' at the Maison des Auteurs in Angoulême. So, together we had a 'little workshop' and went to visit the Comics Museum.

Unfortunately, for preservation purposes we weren't allowed to take photographs inside the museum. But we had a great tour inside the museum. PieR was our resourceful and very helpful tour guide explained about the history of Bande Dessinée and comics in Europe. It was a perfect place to learn about the history of Bande Dessinée and we all were like little children in the candy shop too euphoric to see the original artworks by great comics legends and pioneers.

Now, as I'm writing this blog I'm already in Berlin visiting Nele as my next Wires* European Tour. We'll try keep the updates of our workshop here. Till later, Cheers everyone!

We Are Strong!

Ordinarily, some teachers are willing to check the term papers creative writing ability of their students, nevertheless not all good students can to write professionally because of no time or other reasons. Thus, a sociology essay service is able aid to compose the analysis essay in a short period of time.

Bande Dessinée....the only european comic that I've read was Beano from UK and Tintin from Belgium. So Tintin can be considered a "Bande Dessinée". I want to go to Europe! XD

Pray for good health and more interesting works.

PS: Know anything about Poland's komiks festiwal? Because I recently sends a comic to a contest held by them. http://www.komiksfestiwal.com/

hello Faezal

Thanks for the special mention! Nice blog entry and pictures too. I'm wondering what is that peculiar structure on the background of the first picture? Is that a painted building?

The Mural

Hi Powil,

No problem at all. I hope I could upload our picture in Berlin later as soon as I managed to sort it out. Yes, it's a mural painting of one of the comics although I don't remember the title of the story. I think PieR would know. Anyway, there are other big size murals like this all over the city painted on the building. So it's really great to see it everywhere.

Cheers!
